After returning from a winter exile (a combination of Hockey, Work and Injury, in that order!) means I can resume the course! My handicap of 18 has been upped slightly to 20 to go in tow with my 5 months off. Played a full round on Saturday in the glorious weather and shot a 92, which after 5 months away from the game felt good. All my BM gear looked snazz as always, although a little tighter due to a lack of activity! Looking to get back to playing regularly and perhaps delving into the wallet to update my BM range!
Have been managing to fit in a lot of golf recently and must say the winter is bringing out the best in me! Trying to get up for those 8am tee times in the chill has been murder, however have been reaping in the rewards. No-one dwindlers on the course at that time means I can get a good round going, only problem is no-one is there to comment on how chix I look in my BM gears! Shot consecutive 85s recently, however let it go last week with a 92. Overall though am pleased with the way it's going and look forward to getting some new pictures up on here!
I must apologise for the lack of blogging from myself. Unfortunately Golf has been at the back of my mind these past few months with a hectic schedule of movin and starting a new job. However, got back out on the course at 7:00am yesterday morning and yes, the winter golf is arriving. Thee was a nice consistant drizzle, along with the cold weather meant waterproofs were on and the bobby hat got it's first run out. Still somehow it spurred me on, shooting a 88 including 4 birdies! My beloved Srixon driver was on some sort of mission, after I had considered upgrading to the latest model. Everything straight down the fairway and that makes the game a lot easier as we all know!
As I am back in the groove, I will continually update and post photos as and when they come, I had a few taken over the summer so will try and get them on here asap!
Well, must say am very surprised to be writing this blog. Received the email around 10pm last Monday, my Blackberry started buzzing in a busy bar and I could barely read the email let alone digest it! Next morning when i read it properly I was delighted! Looking forward to working with Bunker Mentality for the forseeable period and to displaying some our their great gears on the course. Will get some pictures up as soon as my gear arrives.
By the way the bird in the logo, it's modelled on my missus...Weheeey I'm a lad...
